Mrs. Fields has been teaching early childhood music as a licensed/certified Musikgarten teacher since 2010. Shortly afterwards she became Level 1 certified with ECMMA (Early Childhood Music and Movement Association). She has studied piano and voice, and enjoys learning to play new instruments for class. Immanuel Valpo Musikgaraten has received national recognition as an "Exemplary Program" every years since 2019.
A graduate of Valparaiso University, Mrs. Fields studied English, the humanities, and music. Later on she received her MA in library science at the University of Missouri--Columbia. Over the years she has worked with children of all ages as a children's librarian, stay-at-home-mom, piano teacher, and K-6th grade learning coach with the Georgia Cyber Academy.

Mrs. Fields currently serves as the admissions counselor and school librarian at Immanuel Lutheran School. She and her husband, Pastor Andrew Fields, have four children and stay crazy busy keeping up with their activities in church, school, sports, and music.
